• Opened on 19 May 2023 in the 101-story tower by Studio Gang – Jeanne Gang, with bKL – at 401 East Upper Wacker Drive, the tallest building in the world designed by a woman; 192 rooms averaging about 640 square feet, with 393 residences above.
• Forbes Four-Star 2026 for the hotel, listed here as exactly that, and AAA Five Diamond since 2023 – two credentials from two bodies. The St. Regis Spa Chicago, 12,000 square feet with a sundeck and a yoga studio, holds a Forbes Five-Star rating of its own, the only spa in Chicago that does; the rating is the spa's, not the hotel's.
• Miru, opened with the hotel in May 2023, and Evan Funke's Tre Dita, since March 2024, are the two restaurants at the base.
• St. Regis butler service in every room category, with the Caroline Astor Suite at the top of the collection.
