Where should I stay in Aspen?
Everything in the collection sits in Aspen's core, the few blocks between Main Street and the base of Aspen Mountain. The Little Nell stands at the foot of the Silver Queen Gondola and the St. Regis a short walk west along Dean Street; Hotel Jerome anchors Main Street downtown, with the slopes a few blocks south.
When is the best season for Aspen?
Ski season runs from late November into April, and the weeks around the holidays are the town at its fullest. Summer is the other Aspen — the Music Festival, the Maroon Bells, hiking from the top of the gondola — and late September turns the hillsides gold with the streets at their calmest.
Can I ski straight from the hotel?
At The Little Nell, yes — it is Aspen's only five-star hotel with ski-in, ski-out access, at the foot of the Silver Queen Gondola. The St. Regis sits at the mountain's base a short walk from the gondola; from Hotel Jerome the walk is a few blocks longer. One lift ticket covers all four mountains — Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass — with free shuttles between them.
