The twenty-odd miles of coast on the Sea of Cortez between the two towns, with six of the eight hotels. Along it lie the coves at Palmilla, Chileno Bay and Santa María Bay, the dunes and marina of Puerto Los Cabos, and the older streets of San José del Cabo at the eastern end.
