A sense of the place

Why it's in the collection

Because it is the only five-star resort in the region with a working winery on the grounds – Elusa, with Thomas Rivers Brown making the wine – and the rooms are arranged around the vines.

  • 85 rooms and suites and 20 private villas on a 22.5-acre Calistoga estate, arranged around a 4.7-acre organic Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard; opened November 2021.
  • Elusa Winery on the property, with Thomas Rivers Brown as winemaker – the only working winery at a five-star resort in the region.
  • Auro, the resort's flagship restaurant, led by executive chef Evan Neumann since April 2026; TRUSS Restaurant + Bar for all-day dining and Campo Poolside for Cal-Mexican.
  • Spa Talisa: 6,000 square feet, eight treatment rooms and two couples' suites, with a sunken whirlpool and an outdoor relaxation garden.

The neighborhood

Napa Valley

The valley floor from Napa to Calistoga, Highway 29 on one side and the Silverado Trail on the other – Rutherford, St. Helena and Calistoga, where three of the four addresses sit.

  • Calistoga's Lincoln Avenue and its hot-springs bathhouses, a few minutes away.
  • The Silverado Trail south toward St. Helena, the quieter of the valley's two roads.
  • The Old Faithful Geyser of California, just north of town.
