Because a Four Seasons with more suites than rooms, a pool under a glass dome and Adorn's Wine Spectator-recognized cellar sits thirty floors up on the Mile – Forbes Four-Star for the hotel and the spa, and we list it at exactly the tier it holds.

• Open since 1989 on floors 30 to 46 of the 900 North Michigan tower, entered from 120 East Delaware Place – 345 keys, 160 rooms and 185 suites, so the suites outnumber the rooms.
• Forbes Four-Star 2026 for the hotel and for The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, listed here as exactly that; a Virtuoso hotel and a Four Seasons Preferred Partner address.
• Reopened on 30 April 2021 after a renovation by Rottet Studio; Adorn Bar & Restaurant, opened the same year with chef Jonathon Sawyer, keeps a wine list of more than 400 labels recognized by Wine Spectator.
• An 8,000-square-foot spa renovated in June 2023, the indoor pool with Roman columns under a glass dome, and a fitness floor reimagined in October 2025.
