Diplomatic Quarter, Al Hada & Via Riyadh

The green west of the city – the Diplomatic Quarter, Al Hada and Via Riyadh, with three of the six hotels. The Diplomatic Quarter, the gated district of embassies, was laid out in the 1980s on the edge of Wadi Hanifah, with its parks, its walking trails and Tuwaiq Palace. Al Hada, the district of grounds and gardens, lies beside it on Mecca Road; Via Riyadh, the open-air quarter of restaurants, shops and cinemas, opened in 2023; and beyond them runs the road to Diriyah and At-Turaif.

  • The Diplomatic Quarter and its parks, next door.
  • Via Riyadh and The St. Regis Riyadh, a few minutes by car.
  • Diriyah and At-Turaif, twenty minutes to the north-west.
