A sense of the place

Why it's in the collection

Because 226 rooms and suites in Al Faisaliah Center have come out of a two-year renewal with The Globe, the restaurant inside the tower's three-story golden sphere, and a women-only spa – and Mandarin Oriental holds it to four-star standing, listed at exactly the tier it holds.

  • 226 rooms and suites in Al Faisaliah Center, the tower of 2000 in Olaya; a Mandarin Oriental hotel.
  • Renewed over two years; The Globe, the restaurant inside the golden sphere at the top of the tower; a spa for women only.
  • Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star 2026 for the hotel.

Golden hour over Olaya & Kingdom Centre

Olaya & Kingdom Centre

The business spine of the city – Olaya Street and King Fahd Road, running north to south, with two of the six hotels. Kingdom Centre, the 302-meter tower of 2002 with the Sky Bridge at its top, and Al Faisaliah Center, the 2000 tower crowned by a golden sphere, stand a few blocks apart, their malls at their feet. Tahlia Street is for the cafés and the restaurants, and the towers of KAFD, the financial district, rise to the north.

  • Al Faisaliah Mall, at the foot of the tower.
  • Kingdom Centre, a few blocks north along Olaya.
  • Tahlia Street, a few minutes by car.
