A sense of the place

Why it's in the collection

Because Europe's first grand hotel has stood on Portland Place since 1865 and keeps Artesian and the Chuan Spa – and Langham holds it to four-star standing, listed at exactly the tier it holds.

  • Opened in 1865 on Portland Place, at the top of Regent Street – Europe's first grand hotel; the flagship of Langham Hospitality Group.
  • Artesian, the bar, and the Chuan Spa; Two MICHELIN Keys in the 2025 selection.
  • Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star 2026 for the hotel.

  • Marylebone High Street, a short walk west.
  • Regent's Park, up Portland Place.
