Airelles Château de Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle
Airelles Collection · Versailles · Paris
A sense of the place
Why it's in the collection
Because it is the only hotel within the palace walls, and the evening tour of the Hall of Mirrors with no one else in it is something no address in Paris can offer.
- Inside the grounds of the Château de Versailles, 20 km south-west of Paris; an Airelles house.
- Thirteen rooms including the Necker and Madame de Fouquet suites; Alain Ducasse's restaurant and its Royal Feast; Valmont spa and a 15-meter indoor pool; private tours of the château and the Trianons after the gates close.
- The 17th-century Grand Contrôle, where the finances of the kingdom were kept; period rooms restored to the reign of Louis XIV, with modern comfort behind the paneling.
- Three MICHELIN Keys in the 2025 selection; holds five-star standing.
