A sense of the place

Why it's in the collection

Because a Chedi of Arabian-Islamic architecture stands inside Katara Cultural Village with its own beach and gardens, the amphitheater and the opera house a walk away – and GHM holds it to four-star standing, listed at exactly the tier it holds.

  • Inside Katara Cultural Village, between West Bay and The Pearl; a GHM hotel, The Chedi.
  • A beach on the Gulf, gardens and Arabian-Islamic architecture; the village's amphitheater, mosques and galleries a walk away.
  • Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star 2026 for the hotel.
