Paradise Valley & Yellowstone · Montana
A sense of the place
Why it's in the collection
Because there is much more to Yellowstone than Old Faithful, and this is the house for the rest of it, on a Montana side no less impressive than the Wyoming one: the Lamar's wolves and bison an hour through the northern gate, the river at the door for the trout, the Absarokas in the window, comforts as plush as the landscape is rugged, and a lodge that opened in 2018 and already stands with the top-rated houses in the country.
- On the Yellowstone River in Paradise Valley, near the park's northern entrance; independent house.
- Lodge rooms and multi-bedroom ranch houses; The Grill and the Fireside Room, with menus built on the meat and produce of local ranches and farms; the spa; fly-fishing on the Yellowstone from the bank; axe throwing and stargazing programs.
- Three MICHELIN Keys in the 2025 selection; holds five-star standing.
The neighborhood
Paradise Valley & Yellowstone
The Yellowstone River valley from Livingston to the park's northern gate at Gardiner, an hour and a half from Bozeman. The Absaroka range rises on one side and the Gallatin on the other, and the valley has Chico's hot springs, the fly-fishing and, beyond the gate, the wildlife of the Lamar.
- The Yellowstone River, at the door.
- Yellowstone's northern entrance at Gardiner, about half an hour; Livingston, about half an hour.
- Bozeman airport, about an hour and a half.
