Two Marina Bay Sands addresses are in the Stanza collection; one holds five-star standing. Both are in Singapore, in the same three towers on Marina Bay: the hotel itself, a four-star address listed at exactly the tier it holds, and The Paiza Collection, its suite tier, rated on its own and holding five-star standing. We keep them apart because the rating body rates them apart – as the Okura and its Heritage Wing in Tokyo – and a guest booking a Paiza suite is booking a different stay from the towers below it.

Where does Stanza list Marina Bay Sands?
In Singapore only, as two addresses in the same building: Marina Bay Sands, the three-tower landmark on Marina Bay under the SkyPark and its infinity pool, with the casino, the ArtScience Museum and the Shoppes at its feet; and The Paiza Collection at Marina Bay Sands, the suite tier above the towers with dedicated butlers, a private check-in and a lounge of its own. Gardens by the Bay is ten minutes on foot, the Esplanade and the Merlion fifteen minutes around the bay.

When is the best time to stay at Marina Bay Sands?
Singapore is hot and humid all year, so the question is rain and crowds, not temperature. February to April are the driest months; the north-east monsoon from November to January brings short, heavy afternoon rains. The Formula 1 night race in September runs past the towers and fills them weeks ahead, as do the year-end holidays; Chinese New Year, in late January or February, closes some rooms and opens others.
