STANZA is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or a partner of La Réserve.

Two La Réserve hotels are in the Stanza collection; both hold five-star standing. They span two destinations, one in each: Paris and French Riviera & Monaco. What they share is Michel Reybier's idea of a house rather than a hotel — in Paris a Haussmann mansion of 40 keys off the Champs-Élysées, decorated by Jacques Garcia, with Le Gabriel, its starred dining room, at the heart of it; at Ramatuelle a house on the hillside above the beach of Pampelonne, with Éric Canino's starred restaurant at its table and the Nescens spa, the house's own, inside. Both hold five-star standing. Each page shows a reference rate per night, and the concierge confirms exact rates and availability before anything is booked.

Where does Stanza list La Réserve hotels?

In two destinations, one hotel in each: Paris, where La Réserve Paris – Hotel & Spa stands a few minutes' walk from the Champs-Élysées and the Grand Palais, with Place de la Concorde down the avenue and rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré a street behind; and French Riviera & Monaco, where La Réserve Ramatuelle sits on the hillside above the beach of Pampelonne, the village of Ramatuelle on its hilltop and Saint-Tropez and Place des Lices a quarter of an hour by car.

What distinguishes the La Réserve hotels in the collection?

Each was admitted on its own merits, one hotel at a time, never by brand. The two are Michel Reybier's houses, each kept to the scale of a private home: in Paris, 40 keys in a Haussmann mansion with Jacques Garcia's interiors and Le Gabriel, the starred dining room, at its heart; at Ramatuelle, a house on the hill over Pampelonne with Éric Canino's starred restaurant and the Nescens spa. Both hold five-star standing, and we list them at exactly that tier.

When is the best time to stay at a La Réserve hotel?

It depends on the destination. Paris belongs to spring and early autumn — April to June and September to early October — with Fashion Week taking the rooms of the Triangle d'Or months ahead and the city emptying in August, though the grand houses stay open and the museums are quieter. On the Riviera, May, June and September are the weeks to aim for, warm enough to swim with the coast road not yet full; July and August are hot and crowded on the road to Saint-Tropez, and Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez close the sailing year in early October. La Réserve Ramatuelle is seasonal, and the concierge confirms its opening dates for your stay. Each destination page carries its note on the months, and the concierge advises on dates for a specific hotel.

How do I reserve a La Réserve hotel through Stanza?

Search your dates on the hotel's page to see reference rates, then send the concierge a request. The concierge confirms exact rates and availability with you before anything is booked, and any payment and its timing are set out before you confirm.
