It depends on the destination. Tokyo belongs to the cherry blossom from late March into early April and the autumn colors from late November into early December, when rooms sell out weeks ahead; Golden Week, from late April into early May, closes inventory. Hong Kong is at its best from October to December, clear and dry; Chinese New Year, in late January or February, closes rooms around the harbor for a week, and the summer is hot and under the typhoon watch.
