When is the best time to stay at an Atlantis hotel?
Both are in Dubai, so one season governs them. The winter, from late October to April, is the season: days in the mid-twenties, a sea warm enough to swim in off the crescent and the beach, the pools and the waterpark at their best. The weeks that fill first run from mid-December through the New Year's Eve fireworks and on into the Dubai Shopping Festival in January, the tennis in February and the Dubai World Cup at Meydan at the end of March. From June to September the heat is the fact of the day, with afternoons past forty degrees, the sea as warm as a bath and life indoors and in chilled pools, and the resorts are at their quietest; May and October are the shoulders, hot but usable, with the sea at its best.
