In Dubai they are Emaar's houses, by the city's landmarks: the 63-story flagship beside Dubai Mall on the Burj Khalifa lake, rebuilt after the fire of New Year's Eve 2015; Palace Downtown, its terraces facing the Dubai Fountain; Address Dubai Mall, opening straight into the mall; the twin towers of Sky View, joined by a bridge with a glass-floored observatory; a house on the JBR beachfront; and two houses on Dubai Creek Harbour, facing the Ras Al Khor sanctuary. Two hold five-star standing, the JBR house and Istanbul; six are four-star addresses, labeled as such. Seven are in Dubai: four in Downtown, around Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa lake — Address Downtown, the flagship, Address Sky View, Address Dubai Mall and Palace Downtown; two on Dubai Creek Harbour, facing Ras Al Khor — Address Creek Harbour and Palace Dubai Creek Harbour; and Address Beach Resort on the JBR beachfront, facing Bluewaters Island. The eighth is in Istanbul, on Çamlıca hill, on the Asian side, thirty to forty-five minutes from Sultanahmet and Nişantaşı across the bridge.

Palace Downtown has terraces over the Burj Khalifa lake facing the Dubai Fountain; Address Downtown, the 63-story flagship, has the Fountain and the Burj Khalifa across the lake and a bridge to Dubai Mall; Address Sky View's rooftop infinity pool has the Burj Khalifa in view, and its Sky Bridge carries the glass-floored Sky Views observatory; and Address Dubai Mall's pool deck faces the tower too, with the mall's shops through the door. From Dubai Creek Harbour, Address Creek Harbour and Palace Dubai Creek Harbour look across the water to the Downtown skyline.
When is the best time for the Address houses?
Dubai's season is its winter, from late October to April, and the weeks from mid-December through the New Year's Eve fireworks at the Burj Khalifa fill first — the fireworks the Downtown houses look onto; from June to September the heat moves life indoors and the hotels are at their quietest.
