Positano & Praiano
The western end of the coast, where Positano and Praiano hold three of the nine hotels. Positano's houses are stacked down the hillside to the Spiaggia Grande and its pier, where the boats to Capri leave. Praiano lies a few minutes east along the coast road, quieter and facing the sunset.
Ravello, Amalfi & Conca dei Marini
The center of the coast, where Amalfi, Ravello and Conca dei Marini hold four of the nine hotels. Amalfi and its cathedral sit at sea level, with the gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone on the ridge at Ravello high above it. The cliff road runs west past Conca dei Marini and the Fiordo di Furore.
